Matrix Academy Trust was honoured to be invited to this year’s 100 Heroes celebration, hosted by Birmingham Children’s Hospital at the iconic Library of Birmingham.
The special event recognised the hospital’s top fundraisers from the past year, bringing together individuals and organisations who have gone above and beyond to support the hospital’s life-changing work.
Matrix Academy Trust was proud to be included among the invited guests after being recognised as one of the hospital’s top fundraisers, thanks to the incredible charity efforts of pupils, parents and staff across the Trust. Through a range of fundraising activities and community support, our schools helped contribute towards the remarkable total raised for the hospital over the last 12 months.
Collectively, those attending the celebration helped raise an extraordinary £4.2 million, the highest total ever achieved through the hospital’s fundraising community. The funds will play a vital role in supporting specialist treatment, pioneering research and enhanced facilities for young patients.
As part of the celebration, each of the 100 Heroes has been recognised with a special balloon display in Waterfall House, a lasting tribute to the dedication and generosity of supporters who continue to make a real difference.
Matrix Academy Trust would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all pupils, parents and staff whose generosity and enthusiasm made this achievement possible. Your support demonstrates the strength of our school communities and the positive impact we can make when we come together for such an important cause.
We are incredibly proud to support the amazing work carried out by Birmingham Children’s Hospital and look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.
