Cadets from across the Matrix Academy Trust Combined Cadet Force had the incredible opportunity to fly with 8 Air Experience Flight at RAF Cosford.
For many cadets, this was their first experience of flying in a military aircraft, giving them a unique insight into aviation and the Royal Air Force. The sorties provided an unforgettable experience, allowing cadets to see their local area from the air whilst learning about the principles of flight from experienced RAF personnel.
Experiences such as these are a key part of the Cadet Forces, helping to develop confidence, resilience and ambition, whilst inspiring the next generation to explore opportunities within aviation, STEM and the Armed Forces.
