Matrix Academy Trust’s inaugural Battle of the Bands competition took place this month, hosted by Turves Green Boys’ School, bringing together talented bands from across all Matrix Academy Trust schools for an unforgettable evening of live music.
The event showcased the incredible creativity, passion and performing arts talent within our schools and is set to become a highlight of the Trust’s performing arts calendar. We are already looking forward to next year’s competition!
A huge congratulations to all the bands who took part and shared their performances with us. Special congratulations go to our winning band from Etone College, who impressed the judges and claimed the top prize.
As winners, they will have the exciting opportunity to record their own live piece of music alongside the Matrix staff band at the start of the next academic year. We cannot wait to hear what they produce!
