Launching Our Staff Sponsorship Initiative to Champion Hobbies and Community Causes.
In a move to celebrate the passions and community efforts of our employees, Matrix Academy Trust is proud to launch our new Staff Sponsorship Initiative. This program is designed to financially support staff members in pursuing personal hobbies, representing their communities, and contributing to causes close to their hearts.
The first three recipients in the spotlight of this initiative highlight the diverse and inspiring commitments our team members have beyond the workplace:
Miss Hart – Dame Elizabeth Cadbury School
Miss Hart has recently qualified to represent Team England in a prestigious global dance competition, where she and her dance partner will go head-to-head with top dancers from across the world. The event will take place in Birmingham this year, offering a special opportunity for our local community to attend and support her on this international stage. We’re thrilled to contribute to her competition expenses.
Mr. Smith – Barr Beacon School
Mr. Smith is a dedicated player for the Sandwell Steelers, a local American Football team. With the sport growing rapidly across the UK and within our schools, the team has made impressive strides—reaching the playoffs last year. Our sponsorship will help with equipment and training costs as they gear up for the season.
Ms. Bullers – TS Phoenix Maritime Youth Group
Ms. Bullers from Head Office is continuing her support of an organisation close to her heart: the TS Phoenix Maritime Youth Group. Known for its inclusive programs tailored to children with additional needs, TS Phoenix ensures every child can participate in camps, wear uniforms, and benefit from enriching experiences regardless of financial circumstances. Our sponsorship will aid in sustaining and expanding this vital work.
We believe this initiative is more than just financial aid—it’s about recognising the incredible efforts our staff make in and out of work.
