Turves Green Boys’ School hosts the ‘Leading SEND & Inclusion in Mainstream’ Conference
More than 100 school leaders from across the region came together at Turves Green Boys’ School for a conference exploring how mainstream schools can become more inclusive. The Evidence for Learning programme included insights from renowned SEND experts and schools sharing their own journeys with enhancing provision.
The leaders of Turves Green Boys’ School shared their own journey with SEND. Headteacher James Till, Head of School Theo Walker, SENDCo Kelly Green and Matrix SEND Specialist Alexa Oshodi related the school’s considerable successes since Turves Green Boys’ joined Matrix in 2021 and their planned next steps.
Matrix CEO Lynsey Draycott, in her capacity as a Department for Education RISE advisor, shared the national perspective on SEND.
