On Saturday, Matrix Academy Trust hosted our Bronze Space Course, bringing together cadets from across the region for a full day of learning and practical activities.
It was fantastic to welcome not only Matrix Academy Trust CCF cadets, but also cadets from Staffordshire Wing and Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing, making the course a great example of collaboration across the wider RAF Air Cadets community.
A special thank you must go to Sgt Bray of 1046 Squadron, who supported the delivery of the course and its practical elements throughout the day.
We were also extremely pleased to have two cadets supporting the instructional team and delivering lessons as part of the course:

Giving cadets opportunities to develop their instructional skills and deliver training to their peers is an important part of developing confidence, leadership and communication skills.
We were also delighted to welcome Wing Commander Ratcliffe, CCF Liaison Officer, who spent time speaking with our staff and cadets throughout the day. We would like to thank him for taking the time to attend and for the positive feedback he provided on the course and the work taking place across our contingents.
A brilliant day of Space, STEM, leadership and collaboration, and another opportunity for our cadets to work alongside others from across the RAF Air Cadets.
