We are delighted to announce that the Trust has invested in 23 brand new minibuses as part of our new Trust-wide Fleet Strategy. This marks a significant step forward in ensuring our pupils have access to safe, modern, and reliable transport across all our academies.
Each minibus is built to a high specification to meet the needs of our pupils and staff. The Peugeot Minibus Lite vehicles come equipped with:
- Fixed and removable seating for flexible use
- Full wheelchair accessibility with lightweight ramp and securing equipment
- High safety standards including front and rear dash cameras
- Apple CarPlay for navigation support
- Overhead storage and roof rack with access ladder
- Front parking sensors for safer manoeuvring
- A service plan to ensure long-term reliability
These vehicles are not only comfortable and modern but also designed with inclusion, safety, and practicality at their core.
Most importantly, this investment directly benefits our pupils. The new fleet will increase opportunities for enrichment activities, trips, sporting fixtures, and community engagement. By removing barriers to travel, we can ensure more pupils have access to memorable experiences that support both their academic journey and personal development.
