Effectively quality assuring Alternative Provision (AP) in the UK is a statutory duty that rests primarily with the commissioning school. As the school retains the responsibility for pupil’s safety, welfare, and educational outcomes while they are off-site the process must be rigorous on ongoing. This session will equip you with the confidence to know what to look for to ensure that the school is prepared for any external scrutiny.
