The challenge of school attendance has fundamentally shifted, demanding a holistic leadership approach. This session gives an overview of the legal framework found in the DFE’s Working Together to Improve School Attendance and moves beyond simply tracking the data, to diagnosing the root causes. We will explore how to champion a whole-school culture of ‘every day counts’, and develop an approach that is targeted to ensure every child has access to the full educational entitlement they deserve.

This session is suitable for those new to leading whole school attendance.
