Lynsey Draycott, David Lowbridge-Ellis, and Gary Smart will lead a session titled "Safe and Secure: Effective Lockdown Procedures and Protocols", focusing on the importance of proportionate lockdown procedures in schools.
The session will explore the increasing importance of effective, proportionate lockdown procedures within schools and academies. Drawing on real experience from the Trust's own lockdown incident, the presentation will examine how lessons learned have shaped the development of SMART Response® — Matrix Academy Trust's national initiative to support schools in implementing calm, structured emergency procedures.
