Staff Sponsorship: Carp Fishing

We are proud to celebrate our sponsorship of Mr Bullock from Barr Beacon School through our staff sponsorship initiative, supporting a hobby that reflects patience, perseverance, and a deep respect for the natural world. A passionate and highly committed carp angler, Mr Bullock has spent years travelling across the UK and Europe in pursuit of the sport, building on a family tradition that began at a young age and has grown into competitive carp fishing at a national level.

Our sponsorship has helped support essential aspects of Mr Bullock’s angling journey, including vital fish care equipment, ensuring the highest standards of fish safety and welfare – an absolute priority within the sport. Despite a challenging winter, Mr Bullock has continued to train locally and prepare for the season ahead. As spring approaches and the fishing calendar begins to open, we are delighted to support him as he continues to develop his skills and share his enthusiasm for angling with pupils, using his passion to inspire confidence, responsibility, and perseverance beyond the classroom.
