Staff Sponsorship: Wombourne U12s

We’re proud to be celebrating our sponsorship of the Wombourne Allstars U12s through our staff sponsorship initiative, supporting a team that truly embodies inclusion, resilience, and the power of sport. Founded in 2020 by Mr Solway-Blower from Wednesfield Academy, the Wombourne Allstars have grown from a group of children new to football into a thriving, confident team built on development, teamwork, and respect. Our sponsorship has gone directly towards the club’s brand-new kit, helping ensure every player feels valued, united, and ready to take the pitch together.

It’s been fantastic to see the Matrix Academy Trust logo proudly displayed at the heart of the new strip, symbolising our shared commitment to community and positive youth development. The new kit has already made a huge difference – particularly for the younger players and the talented young girls playing alongside the boys – boosting confidence, pride, and a real sense of belonging. We’re delighted to play a small part in a journey that’s about far more than football, creating opportunities, friendships, and joy for children who deserve to feel supported both on and off the pitch.
