The countdown is officially on.

On Tuesday 7 July 2026, thousands of pupils from across our Trust will come together at the iconic Alexander Stadium for what we believe could be the largest school sports day ever staged in the UK.

More than 6,500 pupils from our schools will take part in a spectacular celebration of sport, teamwork, achievement and community, competing on the same track that has hosted international athletics events and some of the world’s greatest athletes.

The event will bring together finalists from schools across the Trust for a day of competition, alongside a packed programme of performances showcasing the diverse talents of our young people.

As well as thrilling athletics action, spectators can look forward to:

  • Live performances from talented pupil singers and dancers
  • The return of the hugely popular House Mascot Race
  • The ever-entertaining Headteacher Race

The event builds on the success of last year’s Trust Sports Day at Alexander Stadium, which created unforgettable memories for pupils, staff and families. This year promises to be even bigger, bringing together more schools and more participants than ever before.

One stadium. One Trust. Thousands of pupils. One unforgettable day.
