Today is Thank a Teacher Day and while the title suggests “teachers”, we all know schools simply do not run on teachers alone.
So this is a huge thank you to every single member of staff across our trust: teachers, teaching assistants, pastoral teams, office staff, site teams, lunchtime supervisors, cleaners, technicians, safeguarding leads, librarians, finance teams, SEND staff, leaders, and everyone in between.
You are the calm in the chaos, the keeper of spare glue sticks, the finder of missing jumpers, the champions of children, and occasionally the unofficial detectives of “who left this in the corridor?”
Every day, in ways both big and small, you change lives.
You encourage our pupils when they doubt themselves, challenge them when they need it, support them when life feels difficult, and celebrate them when they shine. You give your energy, patience, humour, expertise and heart – often before coffee has even kicked in.
Through every challenge, deadline, fire drill, timetable change, forgotten PE kit, mystery smell, malfunctioning photocopier and last-minute email marked “quick question”… you show up for our children.
And that matters more than words can say.
Thank you for your dedication, your resilience, your compassion, and your unwavering belief in the young people we serve.
